Book Reviews

Hello dear readers,

I am super excited to be starting this new page dedicated to Book reviews. I would like to write about my feelings and thoughts about the books I read.

Confessions first. I am not a literary genius even in the remote sense. I  read for pleasure. For myself, to get some interesting perspectives about the world and also enjoy the nuances that books provide about life in general. The genres of the books I enjoy are also  about life, people, situations where I can relate and empathize. I do love biographies, inspirational stories, realistic fiction, and many nonfiction books that sometimes can be categorized as self-help books. So my reviews will be easy and hopefully non-judgemental. I cannot comment on the writing style, the literature and technicalities of it but I can certainly let you know how a particular book made me feel and think.

Some of my favorites are , An Astronaut’s guide to life on earth by Col. Chris Hadfield, The Happiness Project by Gretchen Rubin, Many books of Jhumpa Lahiri- The Unaccustomed earth, Interpreter of Maladies, Namesake, Freakonomics, Blink by Malcolm Gladwell and not to forget When breath becomes air by Paul Kalanithi.

I would like to start from the  latest book i finished , The Apartment by Danielle Steel.

So, I sincerely hope you can take away a thing or two from these reviews 🙂

Love you all
